Connecting the Dots: Access Source Content Quicker with Primafact Links

While memos and summaries are hard to beat for efficient case review, sometimes you need a fuller understanding of the underlying documents. Locating that illuminating excerpt can be time-consuming – at best, a search interrupts the flow of your review; at worst, it leaves you with an incomplete picture of a crucial case issue.

Primafact 6 Links make it easy to connect directly to your documentary source content, for quicker access and deeper review.

Using Links Inside Primafact

Linking materials to your Primafact documents offers quick access to the big picture with little effort. For example, transcripts can be linked to contradictory evidence, and decoded OHIP and other insurance summaries can connect to the associated clinical record for efficient review.

You can also add links to your Primafact documents to connect to online content. Primafact Links are displayed on the document and also consolidated on the document’s Links tab for quick review and connectivity to linked materials.

Using Links in Word Memos

Adding a Primafact page hyperlink to your memos and document summaries makes it easy to instantly visit the original text cited in your memo. Your Primafact document will open directly to the page linked to your memo. To access the Primafact page link, your summary needs to be in a Word document or Outlook record, viewed on the same network that you use to access Primafact.

Primafact annotation reports exported to Word or Outlook automatically include the page linked to each annotation for a quick and thorough picture of case issues catalogued in Primafact.

Exporting Links in PDF Bundle BInders

Bundling documents into a single tabbed PDF export preserves links to Primafact pages included within the bundle, for more powerful linking capability across documents. Adding a highlight to the referenced text makes it even easier to quickly identify referenced excerpts. URL links to online content can also be included in any PDF exported directly from Primafact.
