Converting Your Case Folders to the Primafact 5 Case Format
- Cases in Primafact 5 are set up within Black Case folders, which activate Case features for that specific Case.
- All Cases in Primafact consist of a Case folder that contains one or more Binders.
-
- We recommend multiple Binders within a Case
- Documents cannot be “copied” into multiple Cases
- Summary Screen Layout & Standard Annotation Issues can be added to Template if desired
-
* Cases in Primafact are discrete units; Case materials cannot be shared/linked (copied) between Cases.
If you have multiple Cases that share documents, decide which Case will hold the coded materials OR Create a “Master Case” with containing the related Matter folders and Binders.
This must be done before Converting your Folder to a Case. When related folders are Converted to separate Cases, all existing links (copies) are lost, and the documents are converted to Duplicates.
