Global Customization - Customizing Team Flag Labels

Customizing Team Flag Labels standardizes coding to your team's preferred settings.

Team flags are colored document-level tags used to identify documents at the Case level. Similar to Profile Fields, they can be used to identify documents by attributes such as type of document, document content, and document status. Applying labels to Team Flags helps ensure their use is standardized across the team.

How Global Annotation Color Label Customizations Work:

Primafact Global Annotation Labels can be customized to apply your team's preferred annotation color associations, enabling uniform annotation color coding across Primafact Cases.

Updates to Global Annotation Labels are automatically applied to all Primafact Cases except Cases that have annotation colors set to Override for this case, even where the Case uses some of the same labels as the Global settings.

You must have permission to modify Global settings.

To update color labels on Cases set to Override for this case, see Case Customization: Customizing Case Team Flag Labels.

⚠️ Note: Changes made to global labels are automatically applied across all Primafact Cases unless the case is set to "Override for this Case" (overriding Global Settings).

👉  If you wish to “lock down” the current Global Team Flag Label settings on a case (so that case labels are not automatically updated when changes are made to the Global values), open the Case Team Flag settings and select Override for the Case.

Customizing System Default Team Flag Labels:

  1. In the main Primafact Toolbar, select Tools > Setup > Team Flag Labels.
  2. The  Default Team Flag Labels  window will open.
  3. You will see 13 flags.
  4. Label the flags you wish to use by adding text to the white box to the right of the flag.  (Using a "-" sign clears unused flags from being displayed.)
  5. Click OK to save.
