Global Customization - Customizing Annotation Color Labels

Customizing Annotation Color Labels standardizes annotation color coding to your team's preferred settings.

How Global Annotation Color Label Customizations Work:

Primafact Global Annotation Labels can be customized to apply your team's preferred annotation color associations, enabling uniform annotation color coding across Primafact Cases.

Updates to Global Annotation Labels are automatically applied to all Primafact Cases except Cases that have annotation colors set to Override for this case, even where the Case uses some of the same labels as the Global settings.

You must have permission to modify Global settings.

To update color labels on Cases set to Override for this case, see Customizing Case-Level Annotation Settings.

⚠️ Note: Changes made to global labels are automatically applied across all Primafact Cases unless the case is set to "Override for this Case" (overriding Global Settings).

👉  If you wish to “lock down” the current Global Team Flag Label settings on a case (so that case labels are not automatically updated when changes are made to the Global values), open the Case Annotation Color settings and select Override for the Case (See Customizing Case-Level Annotation Settings)

Set Global Annotation Color Labels:

In the main Primafact Toolbar, select Tools > Setup > Annotation Colors.

  1. The Default Annotation Colors window will open.

You will see 12 colors. Click Show Additional Colors to make 6 additional colors available.
  2. Select the colors you wish to use by clicking the checkbox to the right of the selected color. Enter the color label in the text area of the selected color.
  3. Click OK.

Now you have set your Annotation Color system defaults.
