## Divide and Conquer: Organize Case Content More Effectively With Multiple Case Binders

One of Primafact’s most powerful features is also one of its most fundamental: the binder, which enables flexible document presentation for efficient document review and production assembly. But if you're still relying on a single binder per case, it might be time to explore the potential of using multiple binders for case organization.

### The Binder: Your Core Unit of Organization

While the Case sequesters documents and data into a discrete envelope, the binder is ultimately Primafact’s foundational unit. It offers a clean, intuitive way to organize and review case content. Whether you're managing medical documentation, expert reports, or disclosure bundles, binders make it simple to keep everything in order.

### Why Go Multi-Binder?

While a single binder can be sufficient for smaller files, multiple binders can make heavily documented files much easier to manage. If your current approach involves just one binder per case, consider making the switch to a multi-binder setup. Here’s why:

- ***Enhanced Organization:*** Dividing a case into multiple binders allows you to categorize content by issue, party, phase of litigation, or document type—whatever works best for your workflow.

- ***Flexible Organization:** *Need the same document in more than one place? No problem. For example, documents in an Affidavit of Documents can live in their dedicated binder and also be copied to other binders organized by topic, event or witness for easy reference and production assembly.

### Review It All—Together or Separately

Multi-binders offer flexibility, without limiting your visibility to your case’s entire document set. When you want a holistic view of a case, the *Documents Tab* lets you review all documents at once. You can also filter and search for specific content across your entire case. Documents can be sorted chronologically, including by date of intake into Primafact, or Case location. Customizable view settings in the Documents Tab let you streamline your review even further.
